Senator Bong Go advocates climate change awareness at League of Municipalities event

PASAY -- Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go visited the Climate Change booth at the League of Municipalities of the Philippines event held yesterday at the Manila Marriott Hotel. The Senator expressed his gratitude to the commissioners of the Climate Change Commission (CCC) for their dedicated efforts in combating global warming, particularly in the Philippines.

During his visit, Senator Go emphasized the crucial role of climate change awareness in addressing environmental challenges. By participating in the league, he highlighted the opportunity to facilitate the dissemination of vital information regarding the People’s Survival Fund and local Climate Change Action Plan to various local government units across the nation.

"I commend the CCC for their tireless efforts in safeguarding our environment and combating the adverse effects of climate change," said Senator Bong Go.

"It is imperative that we prioritize climate change awareness and empower our local government units with the necessary resources and information to implement effective strategies for environmental sustainability."
