QUEZON CITY (PIA) -- All employees of the Philippine Information Agency are enjoined to participate in the upcoming Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill happening on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 2 in the afternoon.

This is to refresh the memory of all personnel on disaster preparedness measures to avoid panic in case of an earthquake.
Moreover, everyone will be made familiar with the emergency exits in the building and practice evacuation scenarios.

Coinciding also with the observance of National Fire Prevention Month, the PIA Administrative Division in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection will conduct a demo on the proper use of fire extinguishers in case of fire.

This is among the various efforts being conducted by the agency to prepare its employees and avoid casualties in case of an eventuality. (KSAA - PIA CPSD)
