Ivy Tao-ey in an interview.
Last year, the 1st Apayao PMFC partnered with the Department of Agriculture and they distributed vegetable seeds to an indigenous people’s community in Tuek, Bacsay, Luna.
This year, they continued the initiative by conducting Mushroom Production Seminar and Workshop in different barangays. They have capacitated the residents of Barangay Calayucay in Luna and Upper Atok in Flora.
Recently, they conducted the same seminar and workshop in Barangay Salvacion, Luna capacitating the barangay officials, women, and parents in the community.
Pat. Clinton Misuno of the unit who trained under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, serves as a trainer discussing and demonstrating the proper procedures of growing straw mushrooms.
