Meanwhile, Governor Henry S. Oaminal shared that tourism is one of the major programs of his administration, highlighting the 5Ms, Misamisnon Magpuyong Malinawon, Malambuon ug Malipayon (Misamis residents to live peacefully, progressively, and happily).

"Magmalinawon gyud ta gawas nga ang atong kapulisan, atong kasundaluhan are working very hard to maintain, preserve our peace and order, and further improve what has to be improved. Kini atong mga facilities ug atong mga programa dako pud ni og tabang magpuyong malinawon. Ang atong kabataan nga malayo na sa ginadili nga droga kay naa man ta’y mga lugar nga ilang ka anhian," he emphasized.

(We'll live peacefully, aside from the fact that our police and army are working very hard to maintain, preserve our peace and order and further improve what has to be improved. These facilities and our programs will hugely help us live peacefully. Our children are far away from illegal drugs because we have places for them to come)

The governor also emphasized that the goals for tourism in Misamis Occidental are to attract more investors, provide employment opportunities, and generate revenues.

"Ang turismo maka-invite ug daghang turista, domestic and international, so gawas nga it will improve our economic condition, it will also improve sa atong ekonomiya, it will create job opportunities, and then it will also increase the local revenues of the local government," the governor said.

(Tourism can invite many tourists, domestic and international, so besides improving our economic condition, it will also improve our economy, it will create job opportunities, and then it will also increase the local revenues of the local government)

As part of its efforts to boost the tourism sector, Oaminal strongly supports the further development of existing and new tourist destinations in the province of Misamis Occidental.

The local government will give P12 million in enhancement support for the development of a tourism program in Sapang Dalaga town.

(It's really beautiful because it's the first ever floating playground in Misamis Occidental, especially located right here in Sapang Dalaga. Then it can attract people to come here, not just for the floating cottages but also for the amenities, especially in this area. This will be a big help, first to the tourism industry, and it will also help to add employment for the people, especially the residents who live nearby)

Both kids and adults can enjoy over 32 fun activities on the playground, making it the perfect place to have fun with family, friends, and even colleagues at work.
