As celebrated in the past summer festivals in Zamboanga City, a grand parade of lovely belles, gowns and arcs will once again grace the city streets on May 27. The event was dubbed as Festival de las Bellas y Flores, the spectacle will showcase beauties donning the finest creations of the city’s renowned as well as up-and-coming designers and walking under eye-catching arcs.

Moreover, while enjoying the festivities, the Department of Health still advises the public to stay hydrated, especially those participating in the events and activities out in the sun. However, DOH has recommended to avoid staying under the heat of the sun for a long period of time at high noon, especially for kids and senior citizens. They also advice poeple to take vitamins, regularly apply sun screen, and bring umbrella when going out at this El Niño season.

The month-long celebration of summer fest will culminate with a Summer Concert on May 31 at the Mayor Vitaliano Agan Coliseum.
