“Ang mahalaga po rito, unang-una ay kailangan po sila (PhilHealth members) ay nakaregister (The important thing here is, first of all, they, as PhilHealth members, need to be registered),” said Dr. Israel Francis Pargas, PhilHealth spokesperson during Friday's presscon held at the Philippine Information Agency in Quezon City.
“They have to register with an accredited PhilHealth Consult Provider of their choice to be eligible to avail of the services covered by PhilHealth,” Pargas said, adding that because of the Universal Health Care Law, every Filipino is already a PhilHealth member.
All PhilHealth members may register and avail themselves of the KonSulRa Package. Registration may be done through self-registration via the member portal at www.philhealth.gov.ph or at any PhilHealth Local Insurance Offices in their area.
