The said program initiative covered the fund augmentation requests for medical laboratory services and other diagnostic, as well as treatment procedures.

The main thrusts of the agency also include the Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV) donation program which seeks to address the need for medical transport vehicles in vulnerable areas, particularly those that are conflict-stricken and geographically isolated.

By 2024, the agency is targeting to procure an additional 1,000 units of PTV to further cater to the healthcare needs of LGUs.
In addition, the PCSO distributes the lotto shares of local government units (LGUs) which can be utilized to finance the implementation of priority development programs and projects of different cities.
