The Philippine Gazette bridges this gap – initially reaching people in selected areas, the Gazette is now being distributed in many places where the public converges like the LRT and MRT terminals, airports and seaports among other places and soon nationwide through the Philippine Information Agency (PIA).

"The stories are more curated that focus on programs or milestones of the government. Although the format is familiar to the public, which is in tabloid form, the arrangement of the contents and the contents themselves are for information sharing and awareness," said Assistant Secretary Francisco P. Rodriguez III, director of the BCS. 

The BCS is the agency in-charge of developing and providing communications services relating to policy formulation, communications planning, project development, research and evaluation, and coordination of information planning within the framework of the overall thrust and priorities of the national development plan.
