Department of Health Undersecretary Abdullah B. Dumama, Jr. has led on July 26 the regional launch of DOH “PinasLakas” COVID-19 vaccination campaign at the Prayer Mountain in Barangay Tamayong, Davao City.

As part of the Presidential directives, the new vaccination strategy targets to achieve 90 per cent primary series coverage among the senior citizen population and 50% first booster coverage among the general population for the first 100 days of the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.

In his message during the launch, Usec Dumama has encouraged the parents, senior citizens and eligible children to get their booster doses against COVID-19.

DOH-XI has partnered with the local government units and other national government agencies to commence the campaign, and ramp up the vaccination rate in the region.
