DAGUPAN CITY, June 30 (PIA) - - Some 30 members of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) - Pangasinan chapter got their first shot of Pfizer vaccines against corona virus disease (COVID-19), Tuesday.
Jay Mendoza, chapter chairperson, said the vaccination is part of the KBP activities that were presented to the local government unit of Dagupan City to include the broadcasters who live and work in the city in the campaign for protection against the virus.
“On behalf of KBP Pangasinan, we would like to express our gratitude to the Dagupan City government and the Department of Health for being our partners in protecting our fellow broadcasters,” Mendoza told the Philippine Information Agency.

The first batch comprises those with comorbidities who are included in the A3 category priority list.
The next batches will be inoculated once vaccines requested by the city government would arrive, Mendoza added.
The KBP was organized on April 27, 1973 in order to promote professional and ethical standards in Philippine broadcasting, both in radio and television.
The Pangasinan chapter has 15 member-stations in the province. (JCR/VHS/PIA Pangasinan)
