TANGUB CITY, Misamis Occidental (PIA)—The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)-10 distributed cash assistance worth P6,000 through Tulong Pangkabuhayan sa ating mga Displaced Person (TUPAD) program to the beneficiaries of Tangub City.

Governor Philip Tan and Tangub City Mayor Jennifer Tan personally handed over the aid to 370 Tangubans from various barangays in the city at Sinanduloy Cultural Center.

Mayor Tan said she is happy that Tangub City received this assistance from President Rodrigo Duterte's program and even Rep. Loren Legarda also provided allocation for the Tangubanons.

Gov. Tan said they have now arranged the allocation program of DOLE to the province.

Meanwhile, PESO Coordinator Romar Megriño Tangub said they based the list of TUPAD beneficiaries submitted by the barangay captains who are qualified individuals affected by the current pandemic and have not yet received government assistance such as the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), Social Amelioration Program (SAP), and others.
