SAN JOSE, Antique (PIA)-- The Department of Trade and Industry – Antique Provincial Office awarded the First Safety Seal Certificate to Robinsons Supermarket here on June 16.
Supervising Trade and Industry Development Specialist Engr. Lynna Joy Cardinal said that Robinsons Supermarket -Antique is the first awardee in the province and 3rd in Western Visayas.
The Safety Seal Certification Program is a voluntary certification scheme that issues safety seals to business establishments that are compliant to the Minimum Public Health Standards set by the government.
Included in the minimum eligibility requirement for the Safety Seal certification is the adoption of the StaySafe.ph or any contact
tracing tool.
DTI is the issuing authority for supermarkets, groceries, and membership in shopping clubs; convenience stores; construction
supplies and hardware stores; logistics service outlets; barber shops and salons, and service and repair shops.
