DAVAO DE ORO, July 12 (PIA) - After being trapped for more than 16 hours, Davao de Oro rescuers saved a miner from being wedged in a collapsed tunnel near a riverbank in Barangay Mainit, Nabunturan.
According to the spot report of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Alvin Bernaba, 28, got stuck waist down by boulders when the tunnel they mined in Purok 12, barred down on July 8 early morning.
Report also stated that he was with two others miners; and fortunately, the two got out safely.
