Tagbilaran City gov’t bares new vax schedule


TAGBILARAN CITY, July 28 (PIA) -- The Tagbilaran City Government has announced the vaccination schedule for its residents and for city-based workers who are non-residents of the city.

In a Facebook post, Tagbilaran City Mayor John Geesnell “Baba” Yap II said the vaccination rollout for Tagbilaran City residents who belong to the A1, A2, A3, and A4 priority groups will resume on Aug. 2 to 5 at the Tagbilaran City College, Booy Elementary School, and Dao Elementary School from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Tagbilaran City residents only need to present a barangay certificate or an ID indicating a Tagbilaran City address so they can get inoculated using the available vaccine supply.

The A4 priority groups scheduled for vaccination include tricycle drivers, multicab drivers, security guards, delivery riders, hotel and restaurants, national government agencies, bankers, carenderias, market vendors, hospital workers, pharmacy workers, caregivers, dialysis centers, convenient stores, water refilling stations, hardware, dental clinics, money transfer/pawnshops, telecommunications, funeral, and embalming services.

Meanwhile, the vaccination schedule for city-based workers but who are non-residents of the city will also be on Aug. 2 to 5 at Bool Elementary School and Tagbilaran City Central School from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Yap said non-Tagbilaran residents who work for companies based in the city who wish to be vaccinated here in the city need to bring their company IDs or certificate of employment to the vaccination site.

Among those who may get vaccinated are tricycle drivers, multicab drivers, security guards, delivery riders, hotel and restaurants, national government agencies, bankers, carenderias, market vendors, hospital workers, pharmacy workers, caregivers, dialysis centers, convenient stores, water refilling stations, hardware, dental clinics, money transfer/pawnshops, telecommunications, funeral, and embalming services.
