BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya(PIA) - - Farmers in the upland town of Ambaguio are in elation after receiving farm equipment from the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PHilMech).

Mayor Arnold Dinungon said the farm equipment were given to barangays Ammoweg, Labang and Salingsingan.

He said the three barangays received three mini palay threshers each and a reaper to barangay Labang to improve the agricultural practices of upland farmers.

"These equipment are a big help for our farmers . This assistance will start the agricultural modernization program in our upland barangays," Dinungon said.

He expressed optimism that their farmers will increase their income through the use of the farm equipment. (BME/PIA NVizcaya)
