BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA) - - The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has completed and turned-over various infrastructure projects for Alfonso Castaneda town.

DILG Provincial Director Elma Urbina said these projects are the Level II Water Systems in  Marikit East and barangays Lipuga and  Pelaway, New Evacuation Center and Ugrading of Local Access Roads in barangay Cawayan, among others.

She said these projects were funded under 2019 Sagana at Ligtas na Tubig Para sa Lahat Program (SALINTUBIG) and 2019 Assistance to Municipalities Program.

“These projects will uplift the conditions of our villagers. Take care of these projects so that it can be used by future beneficiaries,” Urbina said.

Alfonso Castaneda Mayor Wilson Capia-ao thanked the DILG for funding the projects, saying the local government unit has been grateful for the projects funded and implemented by the DILG.
