ILIGAN CITY (PIA)--With the spike of coronavirus disease (COVID)-19 cases for the past few days in the city, the Gregorio T. Lluch Memorial Hospital (GTLMH) here augmented its bed capacity for COVID-19 patients.
GTLMH Chief of Hospital Dr. Richillo Daguman issued a public advisory disclosing that the hospital has allotted 30% of its authorized bed capacity (ABC) to cater to moderate to severe COVID-19 cases.
He further bared that up to this point, the hospital has already outstretched the allocated bed capacity, constraining them to scale up the apportioned COVID-19 beds to 57% of its ABC.
With this, the GTLMH encouraged the Iliganons to stay posted on the status capability of the hospital while appealing for their unity through strictly abiding by minimum health standards to combat the pandemic.
As of 3:00 PM Saturday, August 14, the City Health Office - Emergency Operation Center Health Cluster recorded 28 new cases, two deaths and 12 recoveries hitting a total of 210 active cases. (CRG/PIA-ICIC)
