Aritao MSWDO, DTI give skills training for PWDs

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA) -- The local government unit of Aritao and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) recently gave livelihood skills training for Persons With Disabilities (PWDs).

Mayor Remelina Peros-Galam said the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO)-DTI partnership provided Skills Training on Tomato Processing for 15 PWDs of the municipality at the Aritao Centralized Processing Center in barangay Darapidap.

Peros-Galam said the livelihood skills training is timely with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“With this training, our PWDs can produce various products to earn their own income to cope with the present pandemic,” she said.
