PCOO Chief urges LGUs to continue bayanihan efforts

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Aug 18 (PIA) – In a local radio interview with RMN-DXDR Dipolog, Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar encouraged the Local Government Units (LGU) of Zamboanga del Norte to continue the bayanihan efforts as the country still faces the pandemic.

“We must stay together, work together, heal as one and do bayanihan as the last 10 months of the administration is very crucial to prepare the environment for the next administration,” Sec. Andanar said.

Sec. Andanar also emphasized the importance of the support of LGUs for the take-off or the improving of the economy for the remaining last 10 months of the administration amidst the pandemic. This is to help the country to lessen the impact of the global pandemic in the economy.

The PCOO continues to share the legacies of President Roa Rodrigo Duterte to inform the public on the policies and programs initiated by the administration. With the assistance of beneficiaries and the LGUs, the grassroot communities have directly benefited from all the sacrifices, initiatives, and commitment of this administration, Sec. Andanar added.

“These legacies aren’t only for those who are in support of the Duterte administration. These are for everyone, for all Filipinos, regardless of political attachment and preference,” Sec. Andanar said. (RVC/EDT/MLE/PIA9-Zamboanga City)
