Andanar announces planned government communication academy

DAVAO DEL NORTE, Aug. 19 (PIA) – Secretary Martin Marfori Andanar of the Presidential Communication Operations Office (PCOO), stressed that in President Rodrigo R. Duterte's administration, government media platforms were streamlined and empowered, further cited the ongoing establishment of the first government communication academy.

On Andanar’s guesting on a special episode of PTV Davnor’s Live with Sec. Martin Andanar, hosted by Jhunrey Villanueva and Rhoi Obar with Philippine Information Agency (PIA) – Davao Del Norte Information Manager, Jeanevive D. Abangan on August 17, showcased the Duterte Legacy Campaign with special emphasis on the importance of the government communication development through establishing a government communication academy.

Andanar stated that in PRRD’s terms, all government communication agencies were given attention and were unified in delivering accurate and timely information to people of government’s development.

He also mentioned that facilities and offices of these communication agencies under PCOO were budgeted for the improvement of their services to the people.

To further proved the innovation initiatives in these particular agencies, Andanar cited that there is an ongoing creation of the first government communication academy.

He finally challenged the government communicators to become proactive in delivering the information regarding the accomplishments of PRRD’s administration to the people to show them that the government is working relentlessly for them. (Ezri M. Coda, Jr./PIA XI Davao del Norte/jmda)
