DAET, Camarines Norte (PIA) -- The Civil Service Commision (CSC) here announced activities in line with the 121st Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service with the theme “Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes."
During an interview via Zoom at the “Talakayan sa PIA” cum radio program held Monday, Aug. 23, CSC Acting Director Atty. Alicia P. Salinas said that despite the pandemic, month-long online activities for September were slated as a new way of rendering their services.
CSC Camarines Norte will kick-off their activity on Aug. 31, 11:00 am through online or virtual mass that will be held at St. Peter the Apostles Parish, Vinzons town.
The civil servants are encouraged to join the Bicol Region’s “Zoombaile” on Sept. 2 with a minimum fee of P150.00 per participant. The proceeds from the event will go to the Pamanang Lingkod Bayani or PLBi program which honors government workers who died in the line of duty through one-time financial assistance and scholarship opportunities for the loved ones they left behind.
The “Zoombaile” is the Bicol version of Zumba that will kick-off nationwide activity along with film showing of CSC on Sept. 1 during the Week 1 or “Linggo ng Lingkod Bayani” aside from their virtual press conference.
There will also be a Regional Government Workforce Congress on Sept. 3 in Bicol. It can be accessed online until Sept. 20.
The CSC national activities for Week 2 or the “Linggo ng Paglilinang ng Yamang Tao” will be the 2021 Public Sector Human Resource Symposium with the theme: Transforming Government Agencies Into Smart Organizations: Honing Resilient and Future-Ready Public Servants on Sept. 15-17. This three-day virtual learning event will focus on the strategic role of government leaders and HR practitioners in transforming government agencies into smart organizations.
