Roxas City PNP wows PNP chief

ROXAS CITY, Capiz (PIA) – Philippine National Police (PNP) chief General Guillermo Eleazar commended the Roxas City Police Station (RCPS) for the cleanliness of its headquarter and premises during a command visit, October 8, here.

The PNP chief particularly inspected the various sections, including the detention cell and comfort rooms, of the RCPS three-story building.

“I have seen inside, outside and the surrounding that it is clean and presentable,” the country’s top cop said in Tagalog during a message with the RCPS policemen and civilian employees after the ocular inspection.

Eleazar stressed that the cleanliness policy translates not only on the cleanliness of police stations but also on the police ranks and the community to be free from criminalities.

“This is the most doable that we can accomplish in winning the hearts and minds of the people that we serve,” he noted, adding that the police stations are the windows to the soul of PNP as the “lasting first impression is seen there.”

The RCPS has been adjudged as the Best Component City Police Station national award during a program for the 120th Police Service Anniversary, Oct. 7, at the Police Regional Office 6 in Camp Delgado, Fort San Pedro in Iloilo City.

During the command visit, the PNP chief also had a trip to the Capiz Police Provincial Office in Camp Teodorico C. Apil in Brgy. Lanot, here for the awarding ceremony of outstanding police personnel, units and stakeholders. (JBG/AAL/PIA Capiz)
