“The CAPSU Smart Campus is the fulfillment of the university’s vision towards a digital learning environment that is made possible by CHED. This will empower the nine campuses in their implementation of flexible learning modalities. Thus, assuring that no student will be left behind and no dreams will be shuttered," Alfon said.
The project focuses on a system-wide improvement specifically on Campus Area Network (CAN), Internet Connectivity, and Learning Management System (LMS) of the nine campuses of the university.
It will guarantee the faculty and students access to information and communications technology and will develop a technology-driven learning environment that may provide platforms for operational efficiency, upgrading of personnel competencies and developing student skills and abilities for holistic development despite the challenges brought by the pandemic.
The project also covers Cloud and Zoom Subscriptions, as well as, the installation and configuration of server and storage utilizing the Hyper-Converge Infrastructure (HCI) to facilitate the technical management and operation of the project. (JBG/AAL/PIA Capiz/CapSU/Hazel Joaquin)
