DICT ends DigitaljobsPH Technical Training with 12 graduates

MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur (PIA) -- The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Lanao del Sur Provincial Field Office culminated the two-month DigitaljobsPH Technical Training that produced 12 graduates with acquired skills in freelancing. 

Of the 12 graduates, six acquired clients from both international and local during the training program. 

Namraida Sarangani of DICT Lanao del Sur said one of the graduates earned P65,000 during the training. She also emphasized that DICT remains committed to supporting them by inviting them as trainers for future workshops. 

“Sa mga graduates natin, huwag kayong mawalan ng pag-asa dahil nandito kami, ang DICT, na tutulong sa inyo para makuha o makamit ang gusto ninyo sa buhay thru online freelancing,” she said. 

[To our graduates, do not lose hope because we are here, the DICT, to help you get or achieve what you want in life thru online freelancing.]

With this training, DICT aims to support the residents in Lanao del Sur province, including internally displaced persons of Marawi, to be equipped with technical training increasing their capabilities to have ICT-related jobs.

The graduates underwent face-to-face training for 12 days and practical exercises, including a 21-day campaign where they created digital campaign strategies for the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises while earning profit. (LELA/PIA Lanao del Sur)
