Isabela governor prioritizes boosting public health

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - Isabela Governor Rodolfo Albano III expressed his desire to prioritize the health and safety of Isabelenos in this time of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He stated that no other priorities should be on the minds of local leaders in the province except the health and safety of Isabeleños in order to further prevent the transmission of the deadly disease.

Albano said that the vaccination rollout among Isbeleños is continuously being conducted as more Covid-19 vaccine supplies have now arrived in the province.

“We want to recover from the wrath of Covid-19 to our constituents and [we are] hoping to slowly open more businesses,” Albano said on the Network Briefing News  program hosted by the PCOO.

The governor relayed the continuation of the provincial government’s feeding program wherein children, pregnant and lactating mothers, senior citizens, and farmers are given free fresh cow’s milk to help them become healthy and to increase their resistance against illnesses.

He added that since healthier citizens have more resistance against diseases, the provincial government will continuously provide the needed food supplements including vitamins to maintain public health. (JKC/MGE/PIA Isabela)
