LDN schools receive COVID-19 essentials for pilot F2F class

TUBOD, Lanao del Norte (PIA) -- Six schools in this province that are included in the pilot implementation of face-to-face classes starting November 15 received coronavirus disease (2019) essentials from Office of Civil Defense (OCD) Region 10 and Philippine Information Agency Region 10.

The six schools that will undergo the face-to-face learning modality program are Babalaya Elementary School in Bacolod municipality, Dalama Central Elementary School in Baroy, Marcela T. Mabanta National High School in Kauswagan, Napo Elementary School in Linamon, Tambacon Integrated School in Magsaysay, and Masibay Integrated School in Nunungan town.

The pilot schools received alcohol, handsoap, disinfectant, thermal scanner with alcohol dispenser, and facemasks.

Rolando Azarcon, school principal of Tambacon Integrated School in Magsaysay town, conveyed gratitude for the items they received. According to him, these essential items are difficult for them to acquire.

"Nagpasalamat kami sa OCD sa mga tulong na binigay sa aming paaralan dahil malaking tulong ito sa amin sapagkat talagang iyan ang isa sa items na mahirap namin masustain," he said.

[We are thankful to OCD for the help given to our school because it is a big help to us because that is really one of the items that are difficult to sustain.]

Carlo Caburnay, school principal of Dalama Central Elementary School, also conveyed appreciation for the support given to them. (LELA/ PIA Lanao del Norte)
