MADDELA, Quirino (PIA) - - Some 11 employees of the local government here participated in the four-day Training Workshop on Graphic Design and Basic Photography cum Product Packaging and Labelling Requirements Info Sessions conducted by the Department of Trade and Industry in partnership with the municipal government.

Provincial Director Ma. Sofia G. Narag said the four-day training which started on Nov. 9, 2921 was participated by employees from various offices such as Economic Enterprise Office, Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office, and Business Processing and Licensing Office.

“This activity is really important and relevant as it will provide our local MSMEs an affordable yet quality product packaging and labelling services,” Narag said.

Meanwhile, Mayor Tolentino thanked DTI for conducting the said training saying that it will greatly help in the improvement of product labels among the MSMEs.

On the first day, the trainees were given lectures and workshops on   Basic Photography and Product Packaging and Labeling Requirement by the DTI’s in-house trainers, Jonathan F. dela Cruz, Information Technology Assistant, and Olive Grace V. Labasan, Business Development Unit Technical Assistant, respectively.

Topics on Graphic Design using Adobe Illustrator (Theory and Application) shall be discussed in the next three days. (MDCT/TCB/PIA Quirino)
