TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, Dec. 6 (PIA) -- Nipasidaan ang Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) sa publiko batok sa mga indibidwal nga naggamit og pekeng coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccination cards, nga matud pa posibleng mabilanggo ug magmulta ang masakpang naggunit niini.

Kini ang gipagawas nga pahayag ni DILG Region 10 Director Arnel Agabe human makadawat ang iyang buhatan og taho kalabot sa usa  ka residente gikan sa Cagayan de Oro City nga gisikop sa mga polis sa pagbaligya og pekeng vaccination cards.  

“Atong pahimando sa atong katawhan nga ayaw ninyo peke-a ang inyong mga vax cards kay kamo pwede ma-priso (We remind the public to avoid faking your vax cards to avoid imprisonment),” matud pa ni Agabe.

Ubos sa Revised Penal Code ug Republic Act 11332 o mas giila isip “the Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases Law’’, bisan kinsang masakpang nameke, o naggamit og pekeng vaccination cards mahimong mag-atubang og multa nga P20,000 hangtod P50,000 o pagkabilanggo gikan usa  hangtod unom ka buwan, o pareho.

Gitumbok sa DILG nga “public officers and employees or licensed professionals committing such criminal acts, will be meted a higher penalty and an administrative case shall be filed with the Civil Service Commission (CSC) or Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) for the revocation or suspension of their license or eligibility.’’ (ECB/PIA7 Bohol)
