TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan (PIA) - - This year’s season of giving has yet to unfold as SM Foundation Inc. donated about 200 “Kalinga Packs” to indigent solo parents, PWDs and senior citizens of Barangay Ugac Sur, Tuguegarao City on December 29, 2021, Wednesday.

The SM Foundation Inc. through SM Center Tuguegarao Downtown distributed the “Kalinga packs” to the recipients from the said baranagay. “In behalf of the people of Ugac Sur and as their Brgy. Captain, maraming salamat po sa SM sa pagbigay ng tulong especially sa mga solo parent, senior, at PWD dito po sa aming barangay. God bless us all and thank you very much”, Ugac Sur Brgy. Capt. Aaron Binarao said in an interview.

On the other hand, Melony Domingo, 34, a solo parent recipient, extended her warm greetings and gratitude to SM Foundation Inc. for sending help to the indigent individuals like her. “Malaking tulong po ito sa amin ngayong holiday season,” she added.

This holiday season, the SM Foundation Inc. has been giving donations to barangay to spread joy most especially to those individuals who need more help and assistance. (MDTC/ With reports from Gerina Malubay-Torno/PIA Cagayan)
