In observance of minimum health safety protocols in the mitigation of the spread of the coronavirus (COVID)-19 contagion, this year’s festival which will run from January 10 to 14, will be a mix of virtual and limited face to face activities such as the Miss Kuyamis sideshows and booth competition of participating municipalities, which were judged last week.
Showcased at each participating local government unit's (LGU) home turfs, the Kuyamis-inspired booths boast structural design and highlight the participants' distinguishing economic identity featuring their products made available for consumers, locals, and tourists.
Additional events include the culture and art exhibit featuring the creations of stylists Odelon Simpao, Jiejie Aisa, and Bea Bianca, and National costumes and photographs of notable artists from Misamis Oriental at the activity center of Centrio Ayala Mall.
