Dgte logs over 74K fully vaxxed residents

DUMAGUETE CITY, Negros Oriental, Jan. 27 (PIA) -- Dumaguete City has recorded 74,365 fully vaccinated residents while 5,348 have received their booster shots as of Jan. 25.

The City Health Office has reported that 156,682 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have already been administered to 78,768 eligible residents using Sinovac, Astrazeneca, Moderna, Sinopharm, Pfizer, and the single dose Janssen jabs.

Among the vaccinated include 76,969 residents who got the 1st dose and the 1,799 who were inoculated using the single dose Janssen jabs for a total of 78,768 residents.

City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah Talla said 5,348 individuals received their COVID-19 jabs in the three vaccination sites at Pulantubig Gym, Foundation University Gymnasium, and Robinson Place including those who returned to get their second doses on Jan. 26.

Of the 78,768 eligible residents vaccinated, 2,788 are medical frontliners (A1); 8,695 senior citizens (A2); 9,274 persons with comorbidities (A3); 18,480 frontline personnel (A4); 24,540 indigents (A5); 10,080 belonging to the Rest of the Adult Population; 4,911 Pediatric (12-17 years old) and 5,348 residents who got booster shots based on the order of priority of the Department of Health.
