CITY OF TABUK, Kalinga (PIA) - - The Department of Science and Technology – Cordillera Administrative Region through Provincial Science and Technology Center - Kalinga will provide science and technology interventions to four firms operating in the province under the  Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program(SETUP).

The DOST has entered into a  memorandum of agreement  with Skidmarks Tires and Auto Supply, Parway's Handicrafts Manufacturing, EJ Food Products and the   Kalinga Mountain Food Products for the  upgrade of their products and services.

Skidmarks Tires and Auto Supply will be provided with  truck tire changer, hydraulic pump motor and 10-tonner long Crocodile jack.
 
Equipment  for the  Parway's Handicrafts Manufacturing  include   Tire sidewall cutter2.2,  bench vise, cut-off machines, cordless angle grinder, combination hammer, drill press drill, Jigsaw,  air compressor,  and welding machine and other accessories.

EJ Food Products will be provided packaging materials, label stickers and product laboratory analysis for coffee and fruit juice.
 
For Kalinga Mountain Food Products, S &T intervention include  provision of aluminum foil with printed label   and printed box packaging for 400g coffee. (PIA-CAR, Kalinga with reports from PSTC-Kalinga)
