The recipients, who came from Diffun, Aglipay, and Maddela, were given livelihood kits worth P 8,000.

Included in the livelihood kits were retailers kits, furniture tools, health and safety kits, sari-sari store packages, food processing kits, support to tourism kits, and agribusiness kits.

According to OIC-Provincial Director Mary Ann Corpuz-Dy, the livelihood kits will serve as aid in the recovery and improvement of the beneficiaries’ businesses.

Dy said that the beneficiaries from Cabarroguis, Saguday, and Nagtipunan already received their livelihood kits last December 2021.

“Ang pagdalo niyo ngayon dito ay isa pong manifestation ng inyong commitment na ang mga negosyante dito sa Quirino ay tunay na bayani ng ating bayan na kaagapay ng ating probinsiya upang itaguyod ang ating ekonomiya sa gitna ng pandemya”, said OIC PD Corpuz-Dy.

Governor Dax Cua, who personally attended the distribution, thanked the DTI for another assistance provided to the province’s MSMEs, saying that this can help the small enterprises in improving their business.

The awarding of livelihood kits was also witnessed by Provincial First Lady Midy Cua, Provincial Administrator Carmelita B. Jimenez, and the representatives of municipal mayors of the three towns. (JKC/TCB/PIA Quirino)
