CABANATUAN CITY (PIA) -- Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed a farm-to-market road in barangay Sta. Arcadia, Cabanatuan City.
 
The 3.1328 lane-kilometer, P12.2 million worth infrastructure now provides farmer-residents and motorists with more convenient travel.
 
It was implemented by Nueva Ecija 2nd District Engineering Office.
 
“This was made possible through the convergence program of DPWH and Department of Agriculture with funding from General Appropriations Act 2021,” District Engineer Elpidio Trinidad said.
 
“We hope that this project will help hasten the transportation of harvested goods by our farmers in Sta. Arcadia and we are certain that this project will also bring improvement to their livelihood,” he furthered.
 
“We also hope to provide safe travel to other motorists traversing the area,” Trinidad added. (CLJD-PIA 3)
