CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - The Philippine Air Force - Tactical Operations Group (PAF-TOG), in partnership with the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA), recently conducted a peace and development forum in Barangay Cabaruan in Cauayan City.

The forum was attended by barangay officials, youth and parents held at Barangay Cabaruan Community Center.

Lt. Col. Sadiri Tabutol, commander, said that the forum aims to inform the youth of the different programs and services of the government. The forum also aims to educate them and prevent them from being recruited by communist terrorist groups (CTGs).

“The youth should not be joining the CTGs as their future will be put to jeopardy,” Tabutol said.

Tabutol said the PAF-TOG 2 will be conducting similar activities in other parts of its area of operations as support to the government’s program of ending the local communist armed conflict in the country. (MGE/PIA Isabela)
