DOLE pays TUPAD workers in 2 NV towns

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya(PIA) - - The Department of Labor and Employment(DOLE) recently conducted payout to 721 beneficiaries of its Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) Program

DOLE Regional Director Joel Gonzales said each TUPAD worker from the towns of Kasibu and Bayombong received P3,700.00 each.

The beneficiaries worked for 10 days in their communities, receiving a daily wage of P370.00 regional minimum wage rate in Cagayan Valley.

Governor Carlos Padilla thanked the DOLE for continuously providing Novo Vizcayanos employment opportunities so that they can earn for their families.

“Our PLGU will always in support of the DOLE’s programs for the benefit of our fellow Novo Vizcayanos. We are grateful for DOLE’s pouring of job opportunities for our poor sector,” he said. (MDCT/BME/PIA Nueva Vizcaya)
