CEBU CITY, Cebu, April 21 (PIA) - The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) held the "Duterte Legacy Caravan thru Convergence of All Government Agencies: Pagkakaisa ng Mamamayan at Pamahalaan tungo sa Pagbangon, Kapayapaan, at Kaunlaran” at Camp Sergio Osmena Sr., Cebu City on April 20.
Two months before the end of the Duterte administration, the event was done to further inform and promote to the public the Duterte administration's landmarks projects and services that brought real change to the Filipino people.
The programs and services under the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) and the projects under the Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) were among the achievements of the current administration that were highlighted during the said activity.
The caravan also featured the Integrated Sustainable Assistance Recovery and Advancement Program (ISARAP) that ensures aid and support to Filipinos in times of emergencies such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event also served as a platform in delivering basic services of the government to the grassroots level.
National government agencies offered on-ground activities for the participants by featuring the One-Stop Shop "Serbisyo Caravan."
Among the line agencies that joined the caravan include the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), and Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth).
The Philippine National Police (PNP) through the Police Regional Office 7 (PRO-7) also provided food packs to the participants of the event.

The caravan was attended by officials of DILG and PNP led by DILG Undersecretary for Plans, Public Affairs and Communication Jonathan Malaya, DILG-7 Regional Director Leocadio Trovela, and PRO-7 Regional Director PBGen. Roque Eduardo Vega.
Also present were PNP Deputy Chief for Administration PLTGen. Rhodel Sermonia and Presidential Task Force on Media Security Executive Director Usec. Joel S. Egco. (RGC/PIA7)
