The two-day activity included a cascading of field validation with survey focused-activities led by the Municipal Agrarian Reform Program Officer (MARPO) and Component Coordinator Engr. Joji Flores which mainly evaluated the accomplishments of the SPLIT Project for the 1st Quarter and to further equip the Field Validation team with its survey component and improve its implementation to further fuel DAR’s mission to actualize equitable land distribution.
Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer (PARPO) II Teresita Mabunay, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Ma. Corazon Mondia and Survey Chief Engr. Luwina Gabrillo joined the evaluation activity.
“The SPLIT Project will now involve more of its survey component. It will be a big challenge this time but together with the rest of the team, you will be equipped with strategies and methodologies necessary for you to accomplish our target,” Mabunay said.
SPLIT Project, a World Bank-financed venture of the DAR involves the subdivision of about 1.38 million hectares of collective land titles into individual land titles. (AAL/EAD-PIA6 Negros Occidental)
