CABANATUAN CITY (PIA) -- Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has paved a total of 1.494 kilometers of roads in two barangays in Nueva Ecija.
 
Implemented by Nueva Ecija 2nd District Engineering Office, completed projects are in barangay Kalikid Sur in Cabanatuan City and Ligaya in Gabaldon town.
 
District Engineer Elpidio Trinidad said the newly completed road projects worth P12.6 million were funded under the 2022 General Appropriations Act.
 
Its completion will help improve the daily commute of residents.
 
“We continue to implement road concreting projects in local communities to improve the travel experience of residents and give them better access to market areas and other important places,” he furthered.
 
With the completion of these projects, DPWH hopes that travel in these roads will be a lot safer and more comfortable. (CLJD-PIA 3)
