Cyclists join Duterte Legacy Caravan in Zambo City

ZAMBOANGA CITY, May 1 (PIA) – Around three hundred (300) bikers/cyclists here from different organizations joined the unity run of the Duterte Legacy Caravan during the observance of Labor Day, May 01.

Simultaneously, an estimated two hundred civilian volunteers and staff of some national government agencies have also participated the unity walk, as support and tribute to the legacies of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte for the past six years.

“Ang unity walk/run ay isang paraan ng pasasalamat sa mga nagawa ng Duterte Administration na kung saan nailapit niya ang mga serbisyo ng gobyerno sa taong bayan,” National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA)-9 said in an interview during the unity walk in R.T. Lim Boulevard, Zamboanga City.

The director also emphasized that the Duterte reign is about to end two months from now, “it’s the time for the Filipino people to show gratitude to the President,” he said.

The Unity Run/Walk will end upon reaching the Baliwasan Central School, where the free-government services are situated and readied for the residents in the city to avail of.

The Duterte Legacy Caravan on Labor Day is dubbed "Pagkakaisa ng mamamayan at pamahalaan tungo sa pagbangon, kapayapaan at kaunlaran."

Meanwhile, the government agencies have committed to always serve their best of services to the constituents with the succeeding administrations. (RVC/JRA/PIA9/Zamboanga City)
