PHILSTAI visited the province as part of its Annual Material Sourcing 2022 in the Cagayan Valley Region which ran from April 27-29, 2022.
Dr. Romeo P. Balderama, PHILSTAI president, said the small and medium enterprises that they visited are world-class and some of their products are ready for export.
Among the MSMEs visited were RJS Furniture Shop of Ponggo, Nagtipunan, owned and managed by Lolita C. Ambre; Dumabato Norte Senior Citizen’s Association of Dumabato, Maddela, producers of various bamboo handicrafts; and Maddela Flowers and Crafts of Poblacion Norte, Maddela, owned and managed by Emilia Fernandez.
Meanwhile, buyer Christina San Juan of Yaman Atin, commended the bamboo products of Quirino saying that the senior citizens' bamboo handicrafts are excellent in quality, unique in design, and affordable.
The PHILSTAI delegation was composed of 22 people from different exporting companies, namely, SarilingLikha, Stylecat Mauve Marketing, ELMN Enterprises, Cut N Shape Manufacturing, Benelco Arts and Crafts, REMAI, Medoth Philippines, Fae Décor, Ananas Anam Philippines, and Robin’s Nest.
