SEC trains ARBs on submission of annual reports

TARLAC CITY (PIA) -- Securities and Exchange Commission-Tarlac Extension Office (SEC-TEO), in partnership with Department of Agrarian Reform, conducted a seminar-workshop on the Submission of Annual Reportorial Requirements for the officers of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) associations in the province. 
 
Topics include annual filing of the Audited Financial Statement, General Information Sheet, Mandatory Disclosure Form and other reportorial requirements needed by the Commission to all registered entities.
 
SEC-TEO Director Richard Laus said the partnership seeks to assist clients up to the grassroots level.
 
“This joint undertaking of the Securities and Exchange Commission and Department of Agrarian Reform aims to capacitate and orient our agrarian reform farmers on the online submission of annual reports for easier and faster transactions. The commission is always ready to reach and serve our clientele at the grassroots level including our farmers in pursuit of ease of doing business initiatives of the Commission,” Laus said.
 
Electronic Filing and Submission Tool, previously called Online Submission Tool, was also introduced to the participants for registration, access, and submission of annual reports to the commission.
 
In line with this, SEC-TEO awarded registration certificates to three newly registered Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations including San Juan Farmers ARB Association, Inc. of San Jose; Gintung Butil Tiller and Farmers Association, Inc. of La Paz, and Agrarian Reform Farmers of Sitio Dam Armenia Association, Inc. of Tarlac City.
