CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - The Department of Public Works and Highways - 2nd District Engineering Office (DPWH-2DEO) is hastening the completion of one of its bridge projects in San Manuel town.

Engr. Jose Tobias of the second engineering office said the bridge will connect barangays Eden and Cabaritan of the town which will surely ease the transport of goods and services to the said barangays.

“Once the bridge is completed, the transport of goods and services will surely speed up,” Tobias said.

He said the P19.7 million bridge project is expected to be completed this year to provide better transport facility in and out of the said barangays.

Tobias said the bridge project includes the construction of a 25-meter in length main bridge that will replace the old bridge. Also included in the civil work is the construction of slope protection structures and concrete pavements. (OTB/MGE/PIA Isabela)
