CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - The Isabela Police Provincial Office (IPPO) recently conducted the 1st Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) summit in the town of San Guillermo.

The activity was conducted at Don Pulig Coliseum, Centro Uno, San Guillermo, Isabela in June 2, 2022.

San Guillermo Police Station Chief Major Joseph Binayug said the activity was participated by Sanggunian Kabataan leaders of the town including the youths who are members of the KKDAT San Guillermo chapter.

Binayug said among the topics discussed during the summit include the role of youth in nation-building, anti-illegal drugs, anti-terrorism, teenage pregnancy, and basic life support.

Police Community Affairs and Development Unit Chief Lt. Col. Michael Aydoc said the summit aims to educate the youth on the effects of terrorism, violent extremism, drug abuse, and to influence other young people or peers to become better citizens of their communities. 

Aydoc said the activity is also in support to Executive Order No. 70 of President Rodrigo R. Duterte or the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC). (OTB/MGE / PIA Isabela)
