Sa usa ka pahayag, miingon si Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Kalihim ug Acting Presidential Spokesperson Martin Andanar nga wala nabag-o ang mando ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte nga magpabilin ang pagsuot og face mask.
“The Chief Executive’s directive is clear: Continue wearing face masks; and the Department of the Interior and Local Government has instructed the Philippine National Police to implement the existing IATF resolution on wearing of face masks accordingly,” pahayag ni Andanar.
Gidugang pa niini nga gisuportahan sa Malakanyang ang legal nga opinyon ni Department of Justice (DOJ) Kalihim Menardo Guevarra kalabot sa Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) resolution sa mandatoryong pagsuot og face masks “shall prevail over the executive orders by local government units, including the one issued by the provincial government of Cebu.”
Namahayag si Guevarra niadtong Lunes nga ang IATF resolution “incorporated in and/or enabled by executive orders” issued by the President, who has supervision over local governments.
Gilangkuban ang IATF sa mga Cabinet secretaries nga alter egos sa President, matud pa ni Guevarra.
Matud pa ni Andanar nga gimando na sa DILG sa Philippine National Police ang pag-implementar sa gipatumang IATF resolution sa pagsuot og face masks. (ECB/PIA7 Bohol)
