CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - The Department of Tourism (DOT) region 2 and the Provincial Government of Isabela through the Provincial Tourism Office (PTO) are preparing the coastal town of Divilacan to accept tourists for coastal tourism adventures.
Provincial Tourism Officer Dr. Troy Alexander Miano said the recent dry run conducted by DOT-2 ang his office in the identified tourism sites is an indication that the town is ready to accept tourists once the DOT gives its go signal of its full operation.
Miano said the PTO has launched the tourism tagline “Isabela Coasts, Your Island Toasts” which offers the newly discovered falls, beaches and the honeymoon island located in the town.
He said the DOT 2 and the PTO conducted a tourism circuit activity which aims to know the actual travel time and the possible pathway in going to the tourism sites.
The Local Government Unit of Divilican is elated over the possible opening of tourism activity saying that the town has many potential tourism sites to be enjoyed by tourists.
Divilacan is one of the four coastal towns of Isabela which can be reached by air and sea transportation as the road going to the town is still on-going. (OTB/MGE/PIA Isabela)
