In her message, the lady solon said that she served her home province whole-heartedly for three years, citing the countless jobs, livelihood opportunities, and other services created for Antiqueños, especially amid the pandemic.

As a senator, she expressed readiness and assured dedication to assist in the recovery of the country after the crippling effects of COVID-19 and climate change.

The older Legarda also administered the oath of her younger brother and successor Antique Lone District Representative-elect Antonio Agapito “AA” Legarda.

She also highlighted her office’s accomplishments in the past years and laid down her advocacies and ideals as she completes her third and final term.

Vice Governor Edgar Denosta, municipal officials from the south district, and members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan also took their oath of office, with Senator Legarda as the administering officer.
