BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA) - - The Nueva Vizcaya Electric Cooperative (NUVELCO) in partnership with the San Miguel Energy Corporation (SMEC) recently distributed school supplies to an elementary school in Bagabag town.

Fredel Salvador, NUVELCO general manager, said 90 school kits were given to the Amballo North Elementary School (ANES).

“This activity is part of our cooperative’s Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) in support of the Department of Education,” he said.

Salvador said NUVELCO’s CSR support to the  Balik Eskwela Program shows the cooperative’s regard for the value and importance of education for nation-building.

The turn-over of the school supplies was led by Salvador and ANES teachers headed by Gladys  Carag. (OTB/BME/PIA NVizcaya)
