1st KASIMBAYANAN hall inaugurated in Quirino town

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - The first and only Kapulisan, Simbahan at Pamayanan (KASIMBAYANAN) hall was recently constructed and inaugurated in Sto. Domingo, Quirino, Isabela.

The inauguration was led by Isabela Police Provincial Office (IPPO) Deputy Provincial Director for Operations Lt. Col. Emmanuel Viernes, Quirino Police Station chief Maj. Jonathan Ramos, Quirino town Mayor Edward Juan and Fr. Virgilio Mensalvas, chaplain of the Independent Church of Filipino Christian.

Quirino Police Station Chief Jonathan Ramos said the KASIMBAYANAN hall will serve as a convergence area for the police, the church and the community to discuss and resolve, if possible, community issues and concerns. 

Ramos said he initiated such construction of the hall believing that the involvement of police, church and the community folk is necessary to attain widespread peace and order in the town.

Viernes also said that on behalf of the IPPO Provincial Director Col. Julio Go, the whole men and women of Isabela cops congratulate the initiative of Maj. Ramos including the support of the church and LGU Quirino for constructing such a building.

“The IPPO congratulates the joint efforts of the police, church and the community for constructing a structure that will be a venue to discuss solutions on peace and order and other concerns of the community,” Viernes said.

A ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was made between the police, check and LGU Quirino for their cooperation in the overall maintenance of peace and order in the town after the inauguration. (OTB/MGE / PIA Isabela)
