CSC announces digital art contest for gov’t agencies

ZAMBOANGA CITY, July 28 (PIA) – In celebration of the 122nd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA), the CSC Regional Office IX opens the 2022 CSC PCSA Digital Art Contest for its third consecutive year.

For this year’s contest, all government agencies in the region are invited to join and showcase their creative talents and artistic interpretation of this year’s thematic focus: "RESILIENCE and dedication in the government as part of building a future-ready civil service in the next decade".

Entries must be in digital art form, with minimum of 1440 x 1920 pixels; at least 300 DPI; and in PNG format. Maximum file size is 10MB.

Entries must be digitally manipulated, reworked, or are artworks that used digital technology, and/or software to create the entry. Also considered are hand drawn, painted, or other similar form of art that were scanned and/or copied as long as they are also digitally manipulated, reworked, or enhanced using digital technology. Final output should be digital.

All entries must be submitted on or before 31 August 2022 at paldro9@yahoo.com.ph. All entries will be posted on CSC’s official Facebook page, CSC Regional Office IX on 05 September 2021 until 16 September 2022 for public voting.

The winning digital arts will be tentatively announced on 28 September 2022 via FB live at CLC’s official Facebook page. Winners will receive the following:

First Prize: P 5,000.00 with certificate of recognition
Second Prize: P 3,000.00 with certificate of recognition
Third Prize: P 2,000.00 with certificate of recognition
People’s Choice: P 2,000.00 with certificate of recognition
